This Privacy Policy explains how musevideo.site ("MuseVideo", "we") handles information when you use the free Muse Video generator and read the explainer content on this site. MuseVideo is an independent research and creation hub and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta. We keep data collection deliberately small.
What we collect
The Muse Video generator runs from your browser. When you submit a prompt, that prompt text is sent to our image-generation backend so a preview can be rendered and returned to you. We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name, and we do not process any payment, because the Muse Video tool is free to use with no sign-up.
We use a privacy-respecting, self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) to understand aggregate usage — which pages are viewed and which features are used. This analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build an advertising profile of you. A bot-verification challenge (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs before generation to prevent automated abuse of the free Muse Video tool.
How we use information
Prompt text is used only to generate and return your preview. Aggregate analytics are used to improve the Muse Video generator and the surrounding content. We do not sell your data, and we do not share prompt text with third parties except the infrastructure providers strictly needed to render a result.
Third-party services
Generated previews are served through a content delivery network, and bot protection is provided by Cloudflare. These providers process technical data (such as IP address) as needed to deliver the service and guard against abuse. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies.
Your choices
You can use the Muse Video site without creating an account of any kind. You can block analytics with standard browser tools, and you can stop submitting prompts at any time. If you have a question about this policy, the same not-Meta disclaimer below applies across the whole site.
